The 8mm film was released in 1932 by the Kodak Company. The film strip of the format is 8 millimeters wide, hence its name. There are two versions of this format, the standard 8 mm and the Super 8. This format became the standard of home movies during the Great Depression because of its accessible price. 8mm was the norm until the Super 8 came out in 1965.

When we digitize your film, we may also proceed to correct any image problems you may have to give you a better quality. Finally, when the transfer is complete we will upload the digitized version of your film to an external hard drive, USB key or Google Drive so you can download it directly onto your device.
